Rick has been deeply involved in the building trade for most of his life – dating back to 1996 when he began working after school at a local lumberyard and gaining experience framing houses in the summers. As he advanced his career, he strengthened his knowledge and expertise from more than twenty-eight years of experience as a construction project manager and later a business owner.

Jennifer also has deep roots in construction, learning the business and design aspects of the trade while growing up and working with her parents in a local, family-owned construction company. She then went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Wesley College.

The combination of Rick’s technical skills and Jennifer’s financial savvy and passion for design led to the founding of Cornell Custom Homes – a personalized, boutique-style home-building experience. Rick and Jennifer rely on teamwork to make their clients' dreams a reality. Together, their main goal is to make every build a unique experience.
